Love and Rockets - Sweet F.A. (1996 Goth Rock)

In an attempt to sell themselves to the '90s alternative audience, Love and Rockets refashioned their sound with Sweet F.A. Throughout the album, the band is less concerned with creating atmospheric soundscapes or terse, edgy pop songs; instead, they try to rock hard. Using louder guitars and borrowed ideas from industrial bands like Ministry, the group sounds directionless -- they haven't been able to incorporate these elements into their music, they simply regurgitate them. Consequently, Sweet F.A. is exactly what the title says it is.
